Testing Day

Wednesday, September 30, is a regular school day at William Blount High School. Students are expected to attend school for the full day and participate in their assigned classes and testing.

  • 9th Grade: YouScience, Health Screenings, and EOC Reports

  • 10th Grade: Pre-ACT

  • 11th Grade: Practice ACT

  • 12th Grade: ACT

Dual Enrollment and Work-Based Learning students should follow their regular schedule unless they are scheduled to take the ACT. Students taking the ACT must be at school by 8:30 AM.

If your student needs to leave school early on September 30:

  • Early Dismissal Permission Slips were distributed today during Homeroom.

  • Completed permission slips must be turned in to the Attendance Office by 8:30 AM on Tuesday, September 29.

  • After this deadline, notes, emails, phone calls, or additional permission slips will not be accepted for early dismissal.

  • Parents/guardians may still come to the Main Office in person to sign their student out.

Students who leave early or do not attend school will be marked absent for any classes or testing they miss. Attendance will be taken in testing locations, homerooms, and regular class periods.

Thank you for helping us ensure a smooth and successful testing day!
