Seniors and Senior Parents/Guardians,
We are still ON for tomorrow morning for Paint Your Senior Spot!
A few important reminders before you arrive:
1. Check-in tables will be set up outside the Main Campus entrance. All students must check in before selecting a parking spot. Check In will Start at 8:30am.
2. There will be two check-in tables:
Table 1: Students whose parking spot designs have already been approved.
Table 2: Students who still need to have their design approved and/or pay the $40 Painted Parking Spot Fee (if applicable).
3. If you have not already turned in your signed Parking Permit Packet, please bring it with you tomorrow.
4. You have until Saturday, August 8 to complete painting your parking spot, so there is no need to finish everything tomorrow.
5. Water and doughnuts will be available for all students who are painting.
6. Please help us keep our campus clean by picking up all trash, paint cans, brushes, and any other painting materials before you leave your parking spot.
We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow morning and can't wait to see your creativity on display. Have fun Class of 2027! Have questions? Email keely.landers@blountk12.org

Please take a few minutes to review our dismissal maps before the first day of school. Knowing the traffic patterns and pickup locations ahead of time will help us have a smooth and efficient dismissal process for everyone.
Thank you for your help, and we look forward to a great school year!

Senior Students and Parents/Guardians,
We want to provide a few important updates and clarifications regarding Paint Your Senior Spot on Saturday, July 25.
Parking Fees: Both parking fees must be paid before you can paint your senior parking spot: a $25 Parking Permit Fee and a $40 Painted Parking Spot Fee.
Parking Spot Selection: Parking spaces will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis. If you purchased a Painted Parking Spot, you are expected to paint your selected space. Please note that the parking tag number on your permit is not your assigned parking space. The tag number is used only to register your vehicle. On the day of the event, you will choose any available parking space ,and that space will become your assigned parking spot for the school year.
Check In Process: All parking spot designs must be approved by school administration before painting begins. There will be two tables set up outside the Main Campus entrance:
Design Approval Table: For seniors who still need their parking spot design approved. Students must bring a completed Design Approval Form with them.
Pre-Approved Design Check-In Table: For seniors who have already emailed their design and received approval.
For a shorter line wait, you may email your design in advance to keely.landers@blountk12.org. If your design has already been approved, you may check in at the designated table and start painting.
Painting Timeline: The official event will take place from 8:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 25th. However, seniors who have paid for parking may paint their approved spot after school hours through August 8.
All parking spots must be completed by August 8.
Weather: If weather impacts the event, we will communicate a rain date. A final decision will be made later this week.
Saturday Morning Pictures: Seniors attending football pictures on Saturday morning may reserve a parking spot by parking their vehicle in the space they wish to claim. You may return later that day and/or another time to paint your spot. All parking spot designs must be approved by school administration before painting begins.
We look forward to seeing everyone's creativity on display!

As we prepare for the upcoming school year, we have reviewed how student parking operates. We have made some slight adjustments to ensure our school administration team can focus their time and efforts directly where they matter most: inside the classrooms, supporting our students, and maximizing instructional time.
To streamline operations and ensure a fair process for everyone, please review the updates to the parking guidelines below:
Senior Painted Spots (Reserved) : Seniors have the unique opportunity to reserve and personalize a specific parking space for the year. To secure a reserved spot, please complete and submit:
26-27 Painted Parking Packet - can be turned in to the Main Office or given to Mrs. Landers the morning of 7/25/26 - Painting Day!
Pay for parking pass ($25) - this may be done through www.myschoolbucks.com or in person on Governor Launch Day
Pay for the Painted Parking Reservation ($40) - may only be paid in person at school.
Standard Student Parking (First-Come, First-Served): All students who purchase a parking permit may park in any student-designated parking space on a first-come, first-served basis.
Open Parking Flow: We know every student has unique needs, schedules, and after-school activities. Therefore, apart from the reserved Senior painted spots, all student parking is first-come, first-served. Students may park in any available student space that fits their daily needs.
Restricted Areas: Students are strictly prohibited from parking in designated staff or visitor parking spaces at any time.
We understand that adjustments to school routines can be challenging, but this shift allows our administrative team to be highly visible and active in supporting your students' daily learning and safety.
Thank you for your cooperation and partnership in making this a fantastic school year. If you have specific questions, please contact Mrs. Harris or Mr. Bethel.

Don't forget—tomorrow is Governor Launch Day! Please arrive during your designated time slot.
Juniors & Seniors: If you can't attend your morning session, you may come anytime between 4:00–7:00 PM. We will be distributing junior and senior schedules and devices in the morning, so freshmen and sophomore materials will not be available until the afternoon.
Freshmen & Sophomores: We look forward to seeing you during the afternoon session!
Out of town? No worries! If you're away, you can pick up your schedule and materials on your staggered start day or during Registration on July 24. Come hungry! Food trucks will be on site from 4:00–7:00 PM, so grab a bite while you're here.
We will share parking information later this afternoon, including details about this year's parking process. If you have specific questions, please contact the school office.
We can't wait to welcome everyone back. See you tomorrow!
