Our WBHS Choir took their talents all the way to Carnegie Hall this weekend for the Harmonic Convergence Concert—joining incredible students from across the country and representing East Tennessee in the best way possible! 🌟
From rehearsals to showtime, these Governors showed dedication, passion, and true musical excellence. We couldn’t be more proud of how they represented William Blount on one of the world’s most iconic stages!

WB Boys Basketball is excited to host Blueprint Hoops, a 6-week basketball training program designed for serious young ballers ready to level up their game this spring! 💪🔥
📅 March 25 – April 29
🕔 Wednesdays | 5:00 – 6:30 PM
📍 Marvin Boring Gym – Maryville, TN
👟 Grades: 3rd – 8th
Each session includes:
⛹️♂️ 30 min Skills
🎯 30 min Shooting
🏀 30 min Playing
💲 $100 per baller for the full 6 weeks

Reading is truly fun for everyone! 📚✨
Our students at Union Grove Elementary had a blast celebrating Read Across America Week! Thanks to the generosity of the Blount County Education Foundation and Six Mile Baptist Church, every student got to select a free book of their own to take home.
A huge shoutout to our WBHS Teaching as a Profession students for visiting and reading to our younger learners—it’s amazing to see our high schoolers mentoring the next generation! We are so grateful for our community partners who help make academic growth a priority for every child.

We are thrilled to announce that 2026 PreK & Kindergarten Registration will take place on Friday, April 10, from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM at all elementary school sites district-wide! 🏔️📚
Whether your little one is joining the Class of 2039 or 2040, we are ready to welcome you into the BCS family with open arms.
What you need to know:
✅ Greater Flexibility: No registration by last name this year—visit your school anytime during the 8 AM – 2 PM window!
✅ Unified Process: We’ve streamlined our forms for a more consistent, informative experience for every family.
✅ Planning Ahead: You will receive your student's specific staggered start dates right at registration.
⚠️ Important Note: There will be no school for current PreK and Kindergarten students on April 10 to allow our staff to focus on welcoming our newest learners.

Teachers return for a Professional Development Day on Monday, March 23, so students will not be in school that day.
